1. Please do not hit on me. I own the site ... that's about all, lol. You'll get mad when I don't answer comments or messages or talk in the chat room, and it's not because I'm mean. I'm very rarely actively on the site, as I do dozens of different things to try to help the site grow all at once. So while it may say I'm online, I'm probably not paying attention.
2. Please do not tell me how to run my site. Know that this is completely different than suggesting new features to me, or telling me what you would like to see on Urbanstop. Do not come at me, telling me that this site is ________ and instead of ________ i should be doing ________ because what I am doing is not working. I do not respond well to that at all. And I'd rather not show my claws here on Urbanstop.


My name is Nique and I'm the owner and creator of this site. It's been a long time coming, but finally things are moving along nicely. If you have any opinions about the site whatsoever, feel free to comment me. Suggestions? Those are good too. I take it all into consideration :-]

What made you come up with this idea [for the site]?
As you can probably hear based on the song playing on my page, I used to rap/sing/record music daily. I became fed up with how difficult it is to find a place to promote yourself, build a fan base, and carry on like any other member. So I decided to create one. Now, artists can promote and get to know people, and members can get to know people with the same interests. That's really all I wanted out of the site!

Will you make me a fansign?
No, I will not. Based on the fact that I feel that my face is one of the faces that represents this site, I cannot make fansigns anymore. It makes it seem like my entire site is behind something, when many of my members may not be.

Will you design me a pic?
Not unless you're getting an Urbanstop Pic made. I also do not make backgrounds or graphics. Sorry. Don't have time :-]

Will you promote my music?
I will not be doing anything for an artist that they cannot do for themselves on this site. It's an easy set up, and if an artist is too lazy to do something for themselves, it's not my responsibility to pick up the slack for them.

How can I help you with the site?
Promote the site by posting bulletins on Myspace and other social networks. Bulletin codes that I've made thus far are available here.
